Our 10 a.m. Sunday worship service is taken from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, Rite II. We enjoy singing mostly traditional hymns, taken from the 1982 Hymnal; our talented pianist, Phil Smallwood, always plays a lovely Prelude and Postlude. Our weekly bulletin is user-friendly so that you can follow the service, even if the Episcopal style of worship is unfamiliar to you.
Appropriate attire for our services is casual. Some of our members enjoy a more dressy look, but whether you come in a suit or a dress, or in shorts and a tee shirt, we will still welcome you!
Children are always welcome at St. Francis, too, and we expect that they will not always be quiet. Our parish hall is within sight of the sanctuary, and children may sit out there for Sunday School with our two dedicated teachers, Jenny & Judi. If you are more comfortable having your children sit with you in church, that is fine, too.
All baptized Christians are welcome to take Communion with us, including children. If you’d prefer to come up for a blessing rather than Communion, you may cross your arms over your chest to signify that you’d like a blessing.
