“Since everything comes from you, we have given you that which comes from your own hand.”

–Chronicles 29:14-16

Give Now

Giving

The Holy Scriptures point to God as the source of all that is. And all we have has come to us as a gift from God, and in loving gratitude, we return a portion of what God has given us. For this reason, The Episcopal Church “continues to embrace the biblical tithe of 10% as a standard for faithful generosity.” The tithe is the standard to be aimed toward, but if for any number of reasons it cannot be met, people are encouraged to give proportionately according to their abilities.

How is the money used?

We use the pledges, tithes, and monetary offerings to run the everyday operations of the church. We also have designated retiring offerings on a rotating basis every Sunday for specific charitable ministries that include: Daily Bread Ministries, Turlock Gospel Mission, Episcopal Relief & Development, Helping Urban Bicyclists, We Care of Turlock, and the St. Francis Food Distribution Ministry.
